Berlin, 08th February - Ambassador Igor CESAR visited the leading international trade fair for fresh product trade in Berlin, Fruit Logistica, where more than 20 exhibitors presented their fruit and vegetable exports selectively exported from Rwanda.

More than 20 dynamic women-led exporting businesses hailing from Rwanda were present in the Hall 26 of Messe Berlin during the international fresh products’ trade fair.

Some of the leading fruit and vegetable exporters of the country also took part in the event, such as Zatoms Avocado Oil, Zima healthy, S&I Fresh and Braimpire, among many others.

Agricultural innovation companies such as Virunga BioTech was also present as an established company that’s been exporting premium fresh vegetables to markets across Europe and the UK.

Amongst some of the Made In Rwanda products showcased in the trade fair were various types of cold pressed oils such as pumpkin or avocado oils, fresh avocados, french beans, purple passion fruit, a variety of chilies (habaneros, bird's eye, bullet, teeja or dried chili), cucumbers, marigold flowers, green bananas, green and white eggplants, snow peas, baby corn and vanilla french beans, among others.

On Friday 09th February, Fruit Logistica 2024 comes to an end after three days of fruitful interactions around the international trade business.
